Early Haldor Pockets

A small progression tweak for Valheim 1.0 that makes Haldor's inventory upgrades useful much earlier in a playthrough.

Default progression

• Wider Pockets unlocks after defeating Eikthyr.
• Deeper Pockets unlocks after defeating The Elder.

The mod only changes the required world key for these two offers. Valheim still handles their normal price, purchase state, and inventory expansion, so each upgrade remains a one-time purchase per character.

Configuration

A config file is generated after the first launch:

BepInEx/config/chooweey.valheim.earlyhaldorockets.cfg

Options:

• Enabled — enables or disables the mod.
• WiderPocketsRequiredKey — defaults to defeated_eikthyr.
• DeeperPocketsRequiredKey — defaults to defeated_gdking.

Set either required key to blank to make that upgrade available as soon as Haldor can sell it.

Compatibility

Mods that force all Haldor items to appear may bypass Valheim's normal filtering. If using World Advancement Progression, leave UnlockAllHaldorItems = false when using with this mod.

Installation

Install with a compatible Valheim mod manager, or place EarlyHaldorPockets.dll in BepInEx/plugins/.
