PowerCooldownOnSleep
Sleeping through the night fast-forwards the world, but the guardian power cooldown is left behind: it only ever counts down in real time, so a full night barely dents it. This mod lets that cooldown flow with world time like everything else.
Sleep until morning and the cooldown has moved by however much game time passed, typically several hundred seconds.
Why it is not simply "subtract the day length"
The mod measures network time across the sleep, so it stays correct when the server runs a modified day length, when you go to bed late and skip less, and when sleep is interrupted halfway through. The cooldown is rebuilt from its value at the moment you fell asleep, so the handful of seconds that tick by during the skip animation are not counted twice.
Nonsense deltas are ignored. Reconnecting or a server restart in the middle of sleep can produce a negative or absurd time difference; those are logged and skipped rather than applied.

General / CooldownFactor |
1.0 |
Share of the slept game time removed from the cooldown |
1.0 makes the cooldown flow exactly like world time. 0.5 is half as fast, if a whole
night feels too generous. 0 is vanilla behaviour.
There is no enable toggle. Use your mod manager to turn the mod off.
Compatibility
Client side only. The cooldown lives in your own character data, so the server does not need the mod and other players are unaffected.
Works with any guardian power, not just Eikthyr's. Valheim keeps a single cooldown for whichever power is currently active.
