AltSplitOne
Hold Alt and left click to move items one at a time. No split dialog, no dragging a slider to 1 for the hundredth time.
Vanilla already has this hidden in the split dialog: Shift + click, type a number, confirm. AltSplitOne is the same operation bound to a single click, so grabbing seven wood out of a stack is seven clicks instead of a dialog.
What Alt + left click does
| Cursor | Slot you click | Result |
|---|---|---|
| empty | stack larger than one | take 1 |
| empty | single item or non-stackable | vanilla, take the whole slot |
| holding | the slot you are carrying from | take one more |
| holding | same item, same inventory | move your items into that pile and carry one more from it |
| holding | same item, other inventory | place 1 |
| holding | empty slot | place 1 |
| holding | different item | vanilla, swap |
Clicking the same pile over and over is the main use: the counter on the cursor goes 1, 2, 3, and nothing is moved until you put it down.
Overshooting is safe. Once you are carrying the whole stack, further clicks do nothing rather than dumping everything back. Right click still cancels, as it does in vanilla.
A note on the third row: your carried items really are deposited into the pile you clicked, and the drag re-anchors to it. Cancelling afterwards leaves them there instead of returning them to where you started. The item count in your inventory never changes.

Compatibility
Client side only. It changes nothing on the server and other players do not need it.
Mods that also patch InventoryGui.OnSelectedItem may conflict.
