A custom creature mod by the OdinPlus Team.

⚠️ Important: This is a wild creature. You cannot tame, breed, or ride the beaver. Play responsibly and make backups of your world/characters before installing.

About

OdinBeaver introduces a new wild animal to your Meadows biome. Prefab name: OP_Beaver. Beavers will spawn naturally in Meadows during the daytime. Their main behaviors include chopping down nearby trees and roaming the area.

• Spawn — Meadows biome (daytime, near rivers and water). Spawn settings are set low to reduce Beaver AI memory use.
• Behavior — Chops trees, stumps, and wood (optional), roams the area, reacts to nearby players and runs.
• Taming/Breeding — This mod isn't set up to tame — the Beaver AI may react as they are wild if tamed.

• Immersive Wilderness — a unique creature that adds to natural gameplay.
• Autonomous World Interaction — can interact with your world without player input.
• Configurable Spawn Rate — adjust spawn rate and behavior via the OdinPlus config.
• Configurable Tree Damage — set how much damage is dealt to trees.
• Eat Wood Drops — optional setting, false by default.
• Chomp Tree Stumps — optional setting, true by default.

Manual Installation

Requires BepInEx installed on both client and server for proper config sync.

1. Download the latest BepInEx per the author's instructions
2. Place the OdinBeaver.dll mod file in your /BepInEx/plugins/ folder
3. Launch the game to generate default configs
4. Adjust spawn and behavior settings in OdinBeaver.cfg as needed

Notes

• The beaver is purely wild: if tamed, the beaver may still run away from players.
• Make sure to back up your world before spawning multiple beavers, as tree chopping can change terrain.
• Works alongside other OdinPlus mods.
