Description

Crafty Carts (REMAKE!)

Crafting stations on wheels! Comes with built in storage and lights

Install on the server if you wish to enforce the configurations for the recipes.

If the mod is installed on the server, the client must have the mod, or they will be kicked for a version mismatch.

NOTE: This mod uses ServerSync and a File watcher. Changes to the server config file will sync to clients, no server reboot needed.
      Changes via the BepInEx Configuration Manager by an admin will change the server config and sync to all clients. (Admin must be in game)

This is a remake of the original mod by RoloPogo (all credit for the asset base goes to them!). My mod is a complete rewrite of the original mod with assets rebuilt from scratch and new features.

Features

  • Workbench, Forge, Cauldron, StoneCutter, Artisan and BlackForge carts with lights to see at night
  • Craft and repair at carts
  • Build near carts like stations (if you don't wish to upgrade the cart itself)
  • Upgrade carts with dedicated piece_upgradecart piece added to hammer menu

  • Fix cart storage sizes not sticking since Valheim 1.0. The row config would get reset back to the default when the cart loaded due to their new code.
  • Lowering the column config no longer deletes items sitting in the removed columns. The cart stays wide enough for what's in it until those columns are emptied.
  • Add the foundation for the Forge of Potential cart, with its own storage size configs. (coming soon)

  • Cart upgrades no longer stack with the same real extension built next to the cart, and a cart can't go past the vanilla max level for its station.
  • Custom build menu tags from other mods using PieceManager no longer overlap with the Crafty Carts tag.
  • Legacy/classic build menu tabs show "Crafty Carts" instead of a number when Jotunn 2.30.1 is installed.
  • The Crafty Carts tag and tab keep their name after changing language in game.
  • Internal PieceManager update to 1.4.0

  • Fix the upgrade cart piece overlapping the hammer's repair button in the new 1.0 build menu. It's a normal piece button now, listed under Transport/Crafting, and you can search for it and favorite it.
