SeaAnimals Description

SeaAnimals transforms Valheim’s oceans into a living, dangerous, and fully explorable ecosystem.
The mod adds a wide variety of marine and coastal creatures, each with unique behavior, biome-specific spawning, custom drops, and full integration with vanilla and modded systems.
Beyond facing new predators, you can tame legendary sea creatures, equip them with a Maritime Saddle, and ride them as fully controllable aquatic mounts.

MARITIME MOUNTS (click to expand)

The following creatures can be tamed and ridden:
• Orca (Taming Time = 1200)
• Dolphin (Taming Time = 1200)
• Crocodile (Taming Time = 1800)
• White Shark (Taming Time = 1800)
Food items for tameable creatures:
• Blue Shark Meat, Crocodile Meat, Humboldt Squid Meat, Whale Meat, Sea Turtle Meat, Shark Meat, Turtle Meat, and Serpent Meat.

Controls
All mounts use a custom control system, independent from vanilla mechanics:
• W / A / S / D – Directional movement
• Space – Jump
Mounted attack – The player can command the mount to attack while riding
• Mouse Click - Attack 1 and Attack 02
This enables true naval combat, underwater chases, and full domination of the seas.

CREATURES & ECOSYSTEM (click to expand)

The mod introduces a large variety of marine animals, each with specific biomes, distinct behavior, and exclusive drops:

• Orca
• Dolphin
• Crocodile
• White Shark
• Blue Shark
• Hammerhead Shark
• Tiger Shark
• Whale Shark
• Right Whale
• Humboldt Squid
• Leatherback Sea Turtle
• Turtles (Blue, Green, Red, and Yellow)

All creatures respect:
• Vanilla biomes
• Altitude and ocean depth
• Spawn time
• Game progression (global keys)
• Domesticated animals do not reproduce, take good care of them.

DROPS & COOKING (click to expand)

Creatures drop exclusive meat items, which can be:
• Cooked on the regular cooking station
• Cooked on the iron cooking station
Fully integrated with Valheim’s vanilla cooking system.

SPECIAL ITEM - MARINE SADLE (click to expand)

The Maritime Saddle is required to ride aquatic creatures.
Used on:
• Orca
• Dolphin
• Crocodile
• White Shark

MANUAL INSTALL (click to expand)

• Mod is required on Server for Config Sync (this is still in development).
• Download the latest copy of Bepinex per author's instructions.
• Place the SeaAnimals.dll inside of the "Bepinex\plugins\" folder.
