Description
A complete wildlife expansion for Valheim. LandAnimals transforms the wilderness of Valheim by introducing new animal species, living family groups, breeding systems, new resources, crafting materials and decorative items. Instead of a static world with only a few creatures, the lands become populated by dynamic wildlife ecosystems where animals live, reproduce, drop new resources, and integrate naturally into gameplay. Explore forests and meadows filled with life, hunt new creatures, gather their resources, and craft unique items from the materials they provide.

TANNERY TANK (click to expand)
LandAnimals introduces a hide processing system through a special structure: Tannery Tank The Tannery Tank allows players to process raw animal hides into usable crafting materials. This adds a new step to the hunting progression:
• Hunt animals • Collect their hides • Process them in the Tannery Tank • Use the processed materials for crafting
This mechanic makes hunting more meaningful and integrated into progression.
REPRODUCTION SYSTEM (click to expand)
LandAnimals introduces a family-based reproduction system.
For animals to reproduce:
• A male and a female must be present • They must be close to each other • They must have access to appropriate food
If these conditions are met, the animals can produce offspring, allowing players to create sustainable animal populations.
This system allows players to:
• Create animal farms • Maintain breeding populations • Produce meat and hides sustainably
DECORATIVE ITEMS (click to expand)
The mod also adds animal hide decorations, allowing players to decorate their bases with hunting trophies and rugs made from the animals they hunt. This gives hunters a way to display their achievements.
