Krak* Mod Pack
Here's an incomplete list of how the mods in this mod pack change the game:
- Similar to Diablo or other RPGs, there are now enchanted weapons, tools, and armor that range in rarity and have a number of effects on them. There is also a craftable enchanting table with a whole system for rerolling and tweaking enchanted items for a cost.
- Magic is greatly expanded. There are many new spells that are all craftable at a new Spell Table. Upon death, enemies can drop spells and the components to make spells. Magic builds are now viable through the whole game and on par with other builds.
- Creatures and bosses can be much more powerful. Be careful! Some of them can be very difficult to beat, but the more powerful they are the more loot they drop.
- New exploration skill that at level 10 gives you the ability to see resources, dungeons and caves on your minimap. And a new hunting skill that will similarly gives you the ability to see hunted animals (boars, deers, wolves, lox, hares, necks, chickens and bears) on your minimap.
- Many new points of interest in the world. Interact with new rare shrines in the world for random temp buffs. Interact with new waystones that will pin a dungeon to your map or uncover a radius of the map around the waystone. 7 new unique traders can be found in the world. 4 new trainers that offer skillups for a price (gated by progression).
- Dungeons, locations, and leviathans that were previously a "one and done" will now respawn after a set number of in game days.
- Overhauled skill (woodcutting, sneaking, running/jumping, weapon skills, etc) progression benefits so that they feel impactful and meaningful.
- Crafting pulls automagically from nearby containers.
- Many, many more additions and tweaks: New weapons and items. New foods. There are new armors at every level that supply eitr for casters. There are both backpacks and much better capes, so you need to make a choice about what you want to wear on your back. Chests are a little bit larger so you don't have to dedicate quite as much time to dealing with them. Anything can be brought through portals with you, but enemies can follow you through too if they are close enough. The minimum size of dungeons is bigger, meaning fewer duds. And more.
