Gands Damage Function
Prevents the boring mid-late game where you take near zero damage from previous biome enemies. By introducing an armor penetrating mechanic to low damage hits.
Stronger attacks remain close to vanilla.
This is a perfect companion mod to a hardcore or survival server. Keeps the game from getting stale once you scale.
Features
In Vanilla Valheim once you have iron armor, a Greydwarf hit will only deal 0.3 damage. With this mod that same Greydwarf hit will deal ~3.89 damage so you can't just go grab a coffee while a previous-biome mob is hitting you.
- Applies only to armor on player characters.
- Keeps shield blocks and parries vanilla values.
- Preserves normal stronger-hit behavior.
- Server-enforced configuration.
- Configurable coefficient if you want to increase or decrease the damage penetration.
- The settings are server controlled. When connected to a server, clients use the server's values.
- Required on the server and all connecting clients.
