Artisan Mastery

Artisan Mastery introduces a variety of peaceful professions, each with specialized equipment and benefits designed to support its unique role and complement Valheim's progression.

In addition, Artisan Mastery serves as the foundation for the Distant Origins mods, providing shared crafting resources and materials used across them.

Current Sets:

• Miner Set — highly effective for ore extraction and transportation
• Plague Doctor Set — specialized gear suited for handling illness and poisonous substances
• Sailor Set — practical maritime attire designed for life at sea and steady work on deck

🔨 Crafting Stations

The mod introduces several specialized crafting stations, each dedicated to a different type of work — from traditional crafting to shipbuilding and unusual medical practices.

• Artisan Workshop — for crafting materials and artisan gear
• Naval Workbench — for constructing ships and crafting ship upgrades
• Doctor Desk — for unusual medical crafting

🔩 Materials

• Treated Wood – wood infused with resin or tar, offering better resistance to moisture and decay and suitable for a wide range of crafting purposes.

• Fittings – a set of forged rings, plates, mounts, and rivets used as common crafting components.

• Processed Leather – a range of specially treated leathers used as advanced crafting materials.

• Coarse Thread – a basic crafting thread used across the earlier stages of progression.

⛏️ Dual Pickaxes

A new weapon type has been added — Dual Pickaxes.

• Primary Attack: ideal for fast horizontal digging. Can also help in an emergency encounter with an enemy.
• Secondary Attack: functions similarly to the vanilla pickaxe, making it well-suited for vertical digging.

⛵ New Ship

A new ship has been added to the world of Valheim — the Galleon.
A powerful and majestic vessel, created for true conquerors of the seas.

The Galleon is a multi-deck vessel — a self-contained floating fortress. It features functional interior spaces and a wide range of integrated interaction points throughout the ship. With each installed upgrade, additional systems and features become available, steadily transforming the Galleon into a true flagship of the seas.

🌊 Shipwrecks and Exploration

Drifting shipwrecks can now be found across the open seas, adding new depth to naval exploration and progression.
They vary in rarity and reward, offering valuable resources and a chance to discover Draughts used to craft upgrades for the Galleon.

By exploring these drifting wrecks and revealing their secrets, you gain access to powerful ship upgrades that can be crafted and installed directly on the Galleon, further strengthening your vessel for the journeys ahead.

⚙️ Ship Upgrade System

The Galleon can be upgraded through a dedicated Upgrade Table installed on board.

A total of 16 unique upgrades become available as you progress and explore the world.

Each upgrade is crafted using special Draughts discovered during your journeys.
Once installed, the upgrades expand the ship’s potential, unlocking new systems and significantly improving its overall performance.

🦜 Feathered Companion

Near the Upgrade Table on board, you will find a feathered assistant.

This parrot companion provides helpful information, guides you through key ship systems, and accompanies you throughout important interactions and upgrade decisions.

🔧 Utility Build Pieces

The mod also includes a collection of functional build pieces with unique features designed to simplify everyday tasks and improve the overall gameplay experience.

• Cargo Crane: a sturdy crane designed to simplify the loading and unloading of ship cargo
• Cargo Cart: an improved version of the standard cart with enhanced stats, perfectly suited for use with the Cargo Crane

The mod also provides a growing collection of decorative pieces, giving you more ways to furnish and personalize your base.
