Sorry for giving you yet another thread/issue/person to respond to. My friends and I are apparently blind and can't read the standard black text signs. I feel like I'm not seeing an option in the config file. Is there a way to change the default color of a sign in this mod? Is that something that I can set on the server/world itself as a default?

You have two options:

  1. Use ServersideQoL.Signs, it let's you set the default color for all signs in the world and that also affects container signs
  2. Set ChestSignsDefaultText to something like <color=white>•, that will only affect container signs
